About the firm
A small consultancy, built to give one clear answer.
Solvidian exists because most organisations do not need a permanent Chief Technology Officer. They need one occasionally, usually at the exact moment a decision is expensive to get wrong.
We are a technology consultancy licensed in the UAQ Free Trade Zone, United Arab Emirates. Our work covers three licensed disciplines: information technology consulting, IT network consultancy, and the design of software for computer systems and communication equipment. Around those sit six service lines, and nothing we sell falls outside them.
We deliberately stay small. The people who scope an engagement are the people who do the work, and there is no bench of junior consultants quietly absorbing your budget. That constrains how much we can take on at once, which we consider a feature rather than a limitation.
Every engagement leaves artefacts behind: an assessment you can re-read, an architecture record that explains why a decision was taken, a risk register with owners against it. Advice that exists only in a conversation cannot be checked, challenged or defended twelve months later, so we do not deliver it that way.

A defined deliverable, a fixed fee and an agreed date. Best where the requirement is already clear: an assessment, a design, a due diligence review.
Monthly retainer
Retained advisory
A standing allocation of senior time each month for architecture review, decision support and escalation. Best for organisations without an internal CTO function.
